Dr. Dave Garza
Veterinarian
Dr. Garza graduated in 1986 from Texas A&M University. He has extensive training and experience in the U.S. and abroad in performance horse medicine, surgery, and reproduction. He began his practice in SW Austin 1992 and feels very fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful community. His areas of special interest are in reproduction and lameness diagnosis and treatment. Outside of practice, Dr. Garza enjoys the outdoors fishing, hunting and spending time with his wife Shayna and two children, Shaun and Kiley.

Shayna Garza
Practice Manager
Shayna has been the practice manager since 2002. Shayna has over 12 years experience working in the veterinary field. She has extensive knowledge of equine and small animal care. She keeps up to date on current upgrades in medicines and technology to ensure that our clients are receiving the highest quality of service and care.
She too, enjoys the outdoors, horseback riding and being a mom to their two amazing children.

Dr. Carden is the newest edition to our team working part time. She graduated from ColoradoStateUniversityin 2005. Dr. Carden worked at ElginEquineHospitalfor two years after graduating. She owned her own mobile practice in East Texasfor about two years. Her area of special interest is acupuncture and client education.

Technician
Keely is our hospital technician and also has experience working in the office. She is aspiring to become a veterinarian. She enjoys playing Polocrosse, riding and training horses.

Receptionist
Lisa has several years of experience working at a veterinary clinic both as a receptionist and a technician. She grew up breeding and working with horses. In her free time she enjoys riding and training horses.
