Deus Ex: Invisible War (Xbox, PC)                2003 (6mo.)
· SUMMARY: Brought in on the last 6 months of production to help finish the game on time.
Grew the art team size from 9 to 14. Set up more efficient systems and improved morale. The improved art team replaced 90% of the game’s art assets in 4 months.

Thief: Deadly Shadows (Xbox, PC)                2000-2004
· SUMMARY: Collaborated with leads, Project Director, Publisher and Marketing to evolve the style of the prior games into something appropriate for the current generation.
· Set up systems and pipelines to produce art assets with maximized efficiency
· Built, organized, scheduled and directed a team of 8-16 artists and animators.
· Worked with external contract concept and cinematics teams.
· Worked closely with Graphics programmers to R&D next-gen (Xbox) dynamic per-pixel lighting and materials (normal maps) well before that tech was mainstream.

· Coordinated with external contractors on creating a logo and website for the company.
· Presented and helped to execute a plan to switch the responsibilities of level building from designers to artists that significantly helped our efficiency and raised the quality of environment art for both projects.
· Created a central character animation team to work independently of the game teams to facilitate/enforce resource sharing, animation quality and more efficient production

Digital Anvil, Austin, TX 1999 - 2000

Conquest: Frontier Wars  (PC)             1999-2000
· SUMMARY: Took over as the art director of this game after the art director quit. There was a year left to go, and I was asked to replace ALL of the existing art and art direction.
· Worked closely with contract concept artists and studio director to define a new look for the game.
· Storyboarded, and created all animatics for the game’s movies, collaborating with the in-house cinematics team
· Designed and implemented the user interface, working with concept artists and programmers.
· Directed 4 out of house contract 3D artists.
· Provided on the job 3D training for several interns.

Silver Heart  (PS2 cancelled) 1999 (~3 mo.)
· Developed a new art style for the Silver Heart game. A combination of cell shading techniques to achieve a comic book look.
· Worked with graphics programmers to achieve a demo of the art style on the PS2.
