Equine Affaire We just returned from Equine Affaire in Pomona, CA the first week of Feb, 08. Gator, Rafiq and Colorado traveled with us.
Colorado is a 13 year old Spanish Mustang that was adopted by our friend, Sheryl Crow. Colorado is in training at RHR and made his first public appearance as a guest celebrity horse. He was a perfect gentleman and made lots of friends.
Rafiq had never been to a "big show" before and he had the jitters at first but performed like a pro.

Ginger Kathrens at Red Horse Ranch
Ginger Kathrens, the Cloud Foundation and Taurus Productions, visited Red Horse Ranch in December during the filming of the promotional commercial for Trail Mix. Ginger is widely known for her documentary of a wild horse herd-- "Cloud, Wild Stallion of The Rockies."
While Ginger was at the Ranch, she hopped on Monet (our equine ambassador) for a few bare back tricks and smiles!! (see picture at right)
Ginger also got in a couple hours of trail riding even though the temperatures were well below freezing. She thought she was ditching the cold Colorado winter for a few days of Texas sunshine!!
To learn more about America's wild heritage, the mustang and Cloud's family click on the picture of Ginger and Monet.
