Whip Sizes

6-Ft. Lunge whip with 9-Ft. drop and 3-Ft. extension/snap = 18 Ft. overall length

Allows you to step back and give the horse some freedom in performing at a distance. The lunge whips come alive in your hands, and have a voice that modulates to the necessities of the moment. Balanced llike a professional fly rod. A true instrument of communication. There is a surcharge for the 75" long box so this whip must be ordered along with any two others to cover the cost of the postage.

5-Foot Lunge whip with 5-foot Drop and a 36 inch extension/snap, for schooling up close on a line or in a small confined schooling area.  Use of this shorter lunge whip helps the handler to prepare the horse to make the transition from being trained (up close) with the straight combo-guiders. This is a step between the combo-guiders and extra-long lunge to keep cues simple so the horse doesn't get  overwhelmed.

Combo Whips

These are schooling whips with both the ball and long, thick snap and are unique in the horse industry. These are stiffer than normal whips and yet possess 'life' and most importantly balance. The ball and snap give the handler different modes of communication. The extra thick "Horse Friendly" snap makes it impossible to inflict pain and the ball cushions any real contact while giving a precision touch unlike any whip on the market. Everyone who has ever tried them has been converted from ordinary whips.

39-inch Combo Whip


For up-close schooling and doubles as a riding whip with a classic leather wrapped dressage handle the unique chrome knob end gives this whip perfect balance. This whip doesn't slip out of the riders hand like more lightweight whips.

48-inch Combo Whip

Allen thinks this is the handiest whip in our tool box. We use it for all in-hand and up close training. This is a one of a kind whip in today's horse industry. The ball and snap give the handler a variety of communication options. The snap (like all our snaps) is extra-thick and thus "Horse Friendly".
