This ball is a great addition to our training materials and is superior to all other balls or modified frisbies we have used in the past.

Teaching young horses to retrieve gets them used to carrying an object in their mouths AND thinking at the same time. Great preparation for the time when they will be asked to carry a bit. We'll never be without several Tosss and Retrieve balls in our toy box.

Horses learn by watching others and so one may not be enough.

We highly suggest using the ball only as an interactive training aid and then removing it between sessions. Give an unsupervised horse a ball and in no time he will try to 'kill' it.

The smart alternative is to use the ball to actually teach the horse how to control it in an interactive fashion, but...like all good training parenting, it takes time, dedication and desire to be an effective trainer. You are only limited by your own imagination!

This ball is really tough, but we cannot control nature or how you use the ball and so best of all, the bladder can be easily replaced (at just our actual wholesale cost + postage).
