CONVENIENCE is what is most comfortable to you. But these things I would refer to as basic good design. Lighting and Appliance Controls should always be properly located and easy to use. Light Controls or Switches should be easy to find and always within reach. Appropriate lights should have their brightness controlled for the task at hand. You should have the ability to turn on/off lights without hazard to yourself. For example: Turn on a light before its light is absolutely needed (ie. before getting out of bed at night), and turn off a light after its light is no longer needed (ie. when safely back in bed). Convenience extends outside and to the garage, as many issues such as parking convenience and safety, or remote garage door open/closed status reporting and control may be considered. Talk to me about Your particular convenience problems. |
