Authoring New MagicItems with ItemWizard
ItemWizard™ authoring is now embedded into the HemPC™ application. By choosing to include an ItemWizard script with your item, you can easily allow authorized individuals to update any page on your website! You only need to select the type of ItemWizard script to install.
Some of the many types include:
• Add a new Document
• Add a new Gallery Image
• Add new Text
• Add new Full-Size Image
• Delete an Existing Item
• Replace an Existing Item with a Document
And many more…
If you don't see the type of item you would like, you can create your own! Authors who wish to create new MagicItems should shift-click on the triangle next to the "Welcome to.." text to enter Author Mode. In a matter of a few minutes, you can create custom wizards making it super easy for any Author specified users to add content to your website. Even computer novices with no web publishing experience can easily update a website with ItemWizard and custom built MagicItems.

Author Mode
ItemWizard Author Mode will walk you through step-by-step the process of creating a ItemWizard File. This file is called a 'MagicItem' file and when double-clicked, will allow a user (called a 'Submitter') to easily submit Items to any website you designate.
In order for any ItemWizard user to use your MagicItem, you must first add them to the restricted access user list in the "Web Settings" page of the website you wish to have them submit to. Just add the user and a password per the example on that page. Those listed in the User List can use your custom MagicItem files with the ItemWizard Application regardless of the Restricted Access box being checked or not. Do not check the box next to Restricted Access unless you intend for only those users listed to VIEW the website.~
Also, you may use ItemWizard Author mode to create MagicItems which appear as 'MagicItem templates' in HemPC. Just take an existing magic item and put it in the MagicItems plugin folder with all the other HemPC plugins (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Altuit\Hem2\Plugins\MagicItems) and it will automatically appear the next time you use ItemWizard inside of HemPC!
