About HTMLtoPDF plugin

The HTMLtoPDF plugin allows Hemingway webs to be rendered as a PDF document. Though HTMLtoPDF works with any Hemingway web, it's most useful when used with a template specifically designed for it. One such template is the "TechDoc" template.* When a web is rendered as a PDF, the HTMLtoPDF plugin downloads all the html and images from each page in the web, then combines them into a PDF and saves it on the local computer. It can then be viewed using Adobe Acrobat® or other PDF viewer.

HTMLtoPDF is based upon the Open Source library, HTMLDOC by Easy Software Products. Most (if not ALL) of the same features available in HTMLDOC are also in HTMLtoPDF, so you can find the HTMLDOC Software Users Manual at: http://www.easysw.com/htmldoc/htmldoc.html

*If you do not have access to this template, then contact the Hemingway Administrator and have them give you Custom Template privileges. Then you can go into the Custom Template area (using the Browser version of Hemingway) and select the TechDoc template from the Custom Template Public Library. Now it will be available from the styles menu in both Hemingway and HemingwayPC. Once you apply the TechDoc template and render the web, you are ready to create a PDF with it.
