altBackdrop

This plugin toggles the backdrop. Right-click on it to set the backdrop color.

Download and Installation

Install the plugin: revAltPlugin.rev in the RR plugins folder. Create a new folder altPlugins in the RR plugins folder and place all other revAlt plugins in it. When revAltPlugin is loaded at startup, it will check this folder and autoload any plugins which are in it. If you choose, you can download the whole set of plugins by clicking the button (zip format).

altArchive

When accessed it will save serialized copies of your stack in a folder named "archive" at the same level as your stack.

altHTML

HTML Builder is a plugin you can use for creating htmltext for fields. You can toggle between the htmlText view and the regular text view. Any changes you make from in one view is reflected in the other vew. This plugin has the following features:

• set the textstyle
• set the textsize
• set the linktext
• view the text or the htmltext
• copy the text of the htmltext to the clipboard
• Toggle Label Text button let's you create labels, then edit them, then lock them again

altPropList

This is a plug-in which can display ALL the properties which can be set for an object. You can also use this to compare properties between two objects. I use this often to help debug why one object behaves different from another. .

New Plugin Architecture

Here's a picture of the new altPlugin control strip. Click on the picture to download. Install it in the RR plugins folder. It will autoload whatever altPlugins it finds which are stored in a folder called altPlugins inside the RR plugin folder. Make sure you read the install instructions at the bottom of this page.

This is a 0.9 beta version. The revAltArchive plugin is basically the same code as previous, so don't be afraid to use it. These plugins can coexist with the other Altuit plugins, but functionality is redundant. In most cases, newer plugins are improved versions of the older ones.

This has not been tested on Macs or Linux. It is not set up yet to work with MetaCard.The Plugins

altImgViewer

This *NEW* plugin is most interesting. It can browse folders full of images, in the background. You can view the images full-size, copy them to your stack, and get information about them by right-clicking on them.

Be sure and install this in the altPlugins folder NOT the plugins folder!.
