MagicCarpet works with Runtime Revolution
Runtime Revolution is a RAD (Rapid Application Development) Tool which is used by many professionals for cross-platform development. Runtime Revolution developers can use MagicCarpet directly from within the IDE to manage their project files.

MagicCarpet comes with a pre-installed plugin which allows it to be used from within the Runtime Revolution IDE. It is recommended to use Altuit's RunRev altPluginToolbar in order to access it quickly and get updated.
Installing the MagicCarpet plugin in RunRev. If you're using the altPluginToolbar, then it's simple: First download and run the MagicCarpet application. This will install the plugin at a specific location: For Windows users the plugin is installed at: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MagicCarpet\magicCarpet For Mac users it will be in the Preferences/MagicCarpet/magicCarpet for the user installed on. You can then use the altPluginToolbar to 'add a stack' and it will auto-create an icon on the toolbar. By doing it this way, it will auto-update itself when you launch the MagicCarpet application, or check for update in the altPluginToolbar. Or, if you don't want to use the toolbar, just copy and paste it into your plugins folder and set it's properties to the way you wish to use it. |
